Why used books?
We send used books because each book we ship is being saved from a landfill. We get some from libraries when they withdraw books. Others are from individuals that don’t want them anymore.
It’s a great way to reduce the insane number of books that do end up in landfills every year. (an estimated 320 million per year do!)
This also means your book will not be in perfect shape when it arrives. Most will have some wear and tear, but all are still readable. We would never knowingly send out a book with extensive damage. If we do, please let us know and we’ll send you a replacement!
Books may be hardcover or softcover, but shipping is always free!
Who makes the laminated bookmarks?
Our daughters! Each laminated bookmark will feature stickers, flowers, and artwork from our young daughters. I expect them to get more intricate as they get older.
They love making them, and it’s a fun way to spend time as a family. After all, who doesn’t love stickers and coloring?!?

Can I make special requests?
Yes! When you’re placing your order, add whatever requests you want in the order note. Sending it as a gift? We’re happy to add a card with a handwritten message for free. Just let us know what you want it to say!
You’re also welcome to request certain sub-genres, tea flavors, or anything else. While we can’t guarantee that we can give you exactly what you want, we do our best to provide an amazing experience for every one of our customers.
Why DO we do what we do?
Simple answer: foster care.
We are passionate about caring for kids that need the most love. To do our best, we needed some extra income.
Each book allows us to do more for the kids we’ll open our hearts and minds to.
